The Best Moment

There are many moments in life that bring happiness, but some moments stay in the heart forever. One of the best and most emotional moments of my life happened during the winter vacation of 2025 when I returned to my village, Manam in Trashiyangtse after being selected for the PgDE program.

The cold winter wind, the peaceful mountains, and the familiar path to my home already made me feel warm inside. But nothing could compare to what waited for me at the door. My mother stood there holding a white Tashi Khadar in her hands. The moment she welcomed me with tears of joy and a proud smile, my heart became too full for words. It was not just a welcome home; it was a blessing filled with love, sacrifice, and happiness.

That evening, my family arranged a small celebration. It was simple, yet it carried the purest form of joy I had ever seen. I could see the pride shining in my parents’ eyes as relatives and neighbors congratulated me. At that moment, I realized that success is not only about personal achievement but also about making the people who sacrificed for us feel proud and happy.

For the first time in my life, I truly felt that I had given something meaningful back to my parents. That memory will forever remain one of the most beautiful chapters of my life.
